Petrolheads liked the original Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat so much that they convinced the Stellantis-owned auto marque to revive it for 2023. Thus, after a one-year hiatus, the super SUV is back in Dodge's portfolio, ready to take on the exotic establishment.
Just like the original (they're the same car beneath the skin), the 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat uses the ubiquitous 6.2-liter supercharged V8. The engine pumps out 710 horsepower (720 ps/530 kW) and 645 pound-feet (875 Nm) of torque. It is married to an eight-speed transmission and four-wheel drive, enabling a jaw-dropping performance for a high-riding seven-seater.

You see, this model is similarly fast to some iconic supercars from back in the day, like the Ferrari Enzo. It needs only 3.5 seconds to sprint to sixty miles per hour (97 kph). It can do 180 mph (290 kph) flat-out, the official spec sheet reveals, and if you're into drag racing, then you should know that it will deal with the quarter mile in 11.5 seconds.

The muscly SUV also features uprated brakes made by Brembo, a launch control system, and a revised styling with a snorkel, an apron, a rear spoiler, and several other goodies. It sports two available packages called the Plus and Premium, which bring leather upholstery, a power sunroof, and more advanced safety features when it comes to the former. The latter adds red seatbelts, premium audio, carbon accents, and leather around the instrument cluster.

Topping the Durango family, the SRT Hellcat kicked off at $94,605 for the 2023 model year. The 2024 lineup was introduced earlier this month, though pricing has yet to be announced. Nonetheless, if you want to spruce up your collection with a 2023MY high-riding Hellcat, then you should check out the one pictured in the gallery. It has one owner in the papers, some 800 miles (1,290 km) under the hood, and is presented in gray on top of the red leather interior.

It is basically a brand-new car accompanied by all manuals and the original window sticker, and all it needs to hit the road again are gasoline in the tank and a new owner in the papers. To sign your name on the dotted line, you will have to transfer $119,900 to the vendor, or maybe less if you're on top of your negotiation game. Garage Kept Motors advertises it here and doesn't reveal much about it. But then again, the basics are already there, and as we mentioned, it is a new vehicle.

But would you pay over $20,000 more than the starting price for this example, or would you rather surf dealer lots in the hope of finding a copy that is a bit more affordable? Your opinion matters, so drop a line below and let us know.
