Mansory has done it again: they've taken a sexy vehicle, the Aston Martin DBX in this case, giving it a controversial makeover and calling it a day. However, there is one positive aspect to it.
You don't think we'll start by mentioning it straight away, do you? Thus, let's proceed to the obvious modifications, which have turned the British company's super crossover into an OTT project.

Between us, it wouldn't have been that bad if the tuner hadn't given it the large wing at the rear, as it looks out of place next to the roof-mounted spoiler. We're not fans of the side trim behind the front wheels either, but other than that, it's an interesting proposal, especially for something that bears Mansory's signature.

So, what else have they done to it? Well, they also left their mark on the face of the car, which features a tweaked grille and a new lower section of the front bumper, joined by the vent attachments. The side skirts also came from Mansory, and so did the mirror caps, rear bumper add-ons, diffuser, tailpipes, and fender flares, as it is also wider than the stock one.

The wheels and brake calipers have Mansory's logo on them, and the entire vehicle has a gray finish sprinkled with lots of carbon fiber. A look inside would've been interesting, but the cockpit is not visible in the images shared by the tuner online, which were taken by ak_photography_1503 somewhere in India – hence the right-hand drive configuration of this vehicle.

Now, as for the positive aspect mentioned in the intro, it revolves around the engine. According to the tuner, this Aston Martin DBX has 800 ps (789 hp/588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque available on tap. This reportedly enables the 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 325 kph (202 mph).

The super crossover in question seems to be in the regular specification, not the hotter 707. If that's the case, then it is 250 ps (246 hp/184 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque punchier. The regular DBX, which packs a 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 making 550 ps (542 hp/405 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft), needs 4.5 seconds to hit 100 kph (62 mph) and has a 291 kph (181 mph) top speed.

The DBX 707, which brings 707 ps (697 hp/520 kW) to the party, hence the suffix, and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) produced by its AMG-sourced 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, takes 3.3 seconds to complete the acceleration and has a 311 kph (193 mph) top speed. Thus, it is half a second faster than Mansory's tuned project despite being less powerful. Makes you wonder why you'd need this tuned DBX over the stock 707, doesn't it?
