Over the past half-decade of so, car customisation has reached unimaginable heights. Nowadays, even superminis offer tons of personalization options so, as you can imagine, if we zoom in on the supercar segment, the possibilities are sky-is-the-limit kind. And one of the carmakers who have seen the customisation business flourishing is Lamborghini.
The Raging Bull's personalization arm is called Ad Personam. With the division still young, Sant'Agata Bolognese didn't use to offer data regarding the number of customers that turn to such color and material adventures - here's an example that dates back to 2014, when Lamborghini went as far as bringing an Ad Personam booth to the Geneva Motor Show.

Nevertheless, with the demand for such custom Raging Bulls being on the rise, we are now told that 60 percent of Lamborghini customers turn to the said program. Note that the info comes not from the company itself, but from an Autocar report.

For the sake of comparison, we'll mention that the percentage of Ferrari customers turning to Maranello's custom vehicle arm, which comes with the Tailor Made banner, sits much closer to 100 percent.

Nevertheless, as Lamborghini's overall business expands, we're expecting the Ad Personam activities to grow too. For one thing, the Urus SUV, which is expected to hit the market next year, should bring plenty of new customisation options.

Keep in mind that not everybody understands the kind of materials delivered by programs such as Ad Personam. For instance, we've heard YouTube complains about people checking out the Forged Carbon engine bay of the Lamborghini Huracan and wondering what the whole shenanigan was all about.

Speaking of such shenanigans, those of you who are into special trim and details should check out our supercar spec game tales, which bring together some of the shiniest contraptions the social media has to offer.
