Toyota is trying to make everyone and their mother root for their namesake brand in America – and for good reason, as there is something for everyone.
Long gone are the days when all people could say – myself included – that it was a very reliable brand as a positive fact about Toyota. Now, the company has arguably dropped some of that legendary sturdiness in favor of catering to all types of customers, not just those who accepted bland designs in exchange for low maintenance bills.

Today, you could have a brand-new Prius 'Hybrid Reborn,' including in 220-hp Prime plug-in form if you wanted to be frugal. You could also have one of the many crossovers, starting with the Corolla Cross (including Hybrid), going through the best-selling RAV4, and concluding with the first-ever three-row 2024 Grand Highlander.

There are also SUVs, including the old-school 4Runner, the massive Sequoia, and the upcoming 2024 Land Cruiser, and the truck zone is well represented by the Tundra and the incoming fourth-gen N400 Tacoma. Oh, and let us not forget about Toyota's continued love for passenger cars, from the best-selling Corolla to the big Crown and from the GR representatives to the Sienna people hauler.

Naturally, a stalwart of its passenger car lineup is also the ultra-popular Camry mid-size sedan. Subtly updated for the 2024 model year, the MSRPs kick off at $26,420 – slightly more than a 2024 Chevy Malibu ($25,100), for example – but it also comes with upgraded looks and novelties in the cabin. However, some might feel the changes are insufficient to keep consumer interest.

Well, it could be that Toyota is preparing to retire the XV70 eighth generation, and maybe the 2025MY will arrive with a complete redesign as part of the ninth iteration. Logically, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is always keen on spilling the beans in advance. So, PoloTo, which is a distinctively-named automotive news video channel on YouTube - and they also share visions of new models created with assistance from AI – has recently dreamt of an unofficial 2025 Toyota Camry reveal.

Their resident pixel master, aided by some Ai wizardry, quickly came up with a potential successor that allegedly takes cues from new and successful introductions like the 2024 Prius or Crown models. However, if you want our two cents on the matter, the changes are pretty subtle for a complete redesign – only the rear feels different enough to be easily recognizable.

Instead, we feel their work for the potentially upcoming 2025 Mazda6 easily overshadows the 2025 Toyota Camry. However, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, which is why we compiled a little ad-hoc CGI comparison to gauge which one is better when seen side-by-side. So, which is your digital favorite?
