Do you remember the stunning Alfa Romeo 6C Concept we showed you two months ago? It was designed by Alex Imnadze and looked like it could tackle any American musclecar.
Well, the Italian brand is reportedly working on a luxury 6C model and we can't help but look back at it. Now don't get too excited, because we probably won't get to see that body on a production car, but it's good to know that Alfa Romeo wants to offer a luxury mid-size range.
This piece of information comes for Car & Driver, who claims the company is already developing new sedan and coupe that will receive the 6C moniker. Underpinned by the Maserati Ghibli's platform, the future vehicles will gain, as expected, the same twin-turbo V6 diesel engine. Furthermore, the new 6C range could arrive with the Ferrari FF's all-wheel drive system and a Maranello-developed dual-clutch transmission.
The four-door sedan version is rumored to arrive in 2015 as a 2016 model with Fiat Group hoping to sell 40,000 units for year. Now we'll just have to wait and see what happens...
