If you're looking for a spacious, traditional family house on wheels, the Boardwalk isn't it; what you'll find inside this cleverly designed miniature home is the perfect setup for a modern adventurer, an urban traveler who needs to take his work with him on the road or on vacation in a remote location.
We've featured several tiny homes that were specifically meant as bachelor pads or unconventional havens of wheels for artists and travelers. Still, none of them had the quirky layout that makes this particular design so unique. It's noticeable from the outside but can only be fully appreciated from the inside; it gives this home an unexpected classic elegance even though it's meant for a modern purpose; ultimately, it's a clever extension that doesn't make this home any less compact, easily transportable and affordable.

What we're talking about is a bay detail created with the help of bay windows. For those who might not know, these are windows that protrude from the wall, almost like an enclosed balcony. They create a bay area in the room, resulting in spectacular panoramic views. Needless to say, they're hardly ever used in tiny house construction, which makes the homes that do have them extra special.

As you step through the Boardwalk’s extra-large glass doors, you're not immediately welcomed into the typical lounge area with a sofa and a coffee table. Instead, this unusual bay reveals a unique work area or home office. It's more like an office corner cleverly set up in front of those gorgeous panoramic windows. First, imagine the abundant natural light you would get from both the windows and the glass doors. Second, this home was obviously designed to be set up in a beautiful location with fabulous landscapes.

Even the name is inspired by a walk on the beach, although the home's actual style is fully customizable. This isn't necessarily a beach house on wheels, even though it would fit perfectly somewhere close to the water. One thing's for sure: this open-space layout with bay windows needs a beautiful landscape; it would be a waste to have this great setup and have no view worth admiring.

After this surprising and delightful stop by the bay windows, you're then invited to relax in the lounge area nearby. You'll find all the traditional elements, including a special place for the TV. Still, there's also ample storage, which is always appreciated.

In addition to the built-in shelves above the TV stand, this room also comes with a slim yet full-height closet right next to the sofa and a full-width storage bench above it. In other words, not one inch of space was wasted. The best part is that, despite the ample storage, this lounge still feels open and connected to the outdoors, making it a relaxation oasis that's also packed with functionality.

The loft bedroom is one of the elements that make the Boardwalk Tiny feel more like a cool bachelor pad than a traditional home. It lacks the spaciousness, storage, and luminosity of a classic bedroom. Still, two highlights compensate for the absence of larger windows and keep the owner connected to the outside world.

There's no safety wall or handrail, and accessing this loft isn't very comfortable since there's no staircase, just a ladder. It's the kind of bedroom you'd expect to find in a compact, rugged house on wheels designed to hit the road often. Plus, this particular layout doesn't exactly enhance privacy, which is another thing that makes it better suited for a single owner.

The galley-style kitchen and the bathroom are both tiny and equipped with basic appliances only, but smart storage solutions were integrated here as well. The kitchen is literally packed with all kinds of drawers and shelves, using as much space as possible to help keep things organized. At the same time, the folks who designed this home made sure to keep that indoor/outdoor flow in this part of the house as well. Of course, it's not as impressive as the panoramic bay windows, but it does help to open up this cooking area more, considering its size and layout.

All in all, the Boardwalk offers just under 200 square feet (18.5 square meters) of floor space and the basic amenities for long-term accommodation. Vaulted ceilings amplify spaciousness and help create room for more storage. The unusual and beautiful bay windows help the Boardwalk stand out compared to similar travel trailers and add a luxurious, bohemian touch. Not many homes this size come with a designated home office area, especially one with awesome views.

The compact structure of this home means that it's easy to relocate to different areas, easy to maintain, and affordable. With pricing starting at under $65,000, this home with a view and an unusual work corner is more than an enticing option.
