Alasdair Stewart Appointed Head of Bentley Sales and Marketing

We expect to see new marketing moves from Bentley in the future, as the company has appointed Alasdair Stewart head of its global sales and marketing.

This is not the executive’s first role at Bentley, as he was the regional director of the company’s North American arm between 1998 and 2004. Stewart left Bentley, but continued to work for the Volkswagen Group, as he became the head of sales, marketing and customer service for another one of the German group’s exclusive brands, Bugatti.

Stewart replaces Stuart McCullough, who parted ways with the automotive produced by mutual consent. The executive joins the company in his new position today. In his new role, Stewart will supervise the entire sales and marketing activity for the company. This includes marketing, global sales, branded merchandise and after-sales, as well as the relations with Bentley’s global dealer network.

Working at Bugatti was a great experience and I leave many friends in Molsheim but the opportunity to return to Bentley and the UK was too good to refuse. I am excited by the challenge ahead, with the first deliveries of the all-new Mulsanne imminent, the Supersports attracting new customers to the Brand and the forthcoming launch of the new Continental GT, the future is very bright indeed,” Stewart said.

Bentley is currently preparing to make an important marketing step, as the company will make the first on-line vehicle unveiling in its history on September 7. The company will introduce the new Continental GT and promises that the new model will be as striking as its predecessor was.
