The reservation books for the 2024 Acura ZDX are now open. Customers can reserve the vehicle in either standard or S variant online or at a dealership. First deliveries will take place in early 2024.
The Acura ZDX S is the most potent model ever rolled out by the brand. It is set in motion by a dual-motor setup generating a total of 500 horsepower (507 PS) and 601 lb-ft (815 Nm). It takes less than 5.0 seconds to run from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph).

The brand is not exactly the definition of modesty and calls the S variant a high-performance SUV. But those seats are already taken by models such as the Rivian R1S with 835 horsepower, the Lotus Eletre R with 905 horsepower, or the Tesla Model X Plaid rated at 1,020 horsepower. The ZDX S is, indeed, Acura’s most powerful SUV, but compared with the beasts out there, it still is nothing to write home about.

The ZDX not-so-high-performance SUV is estimated to start at around $70,000. Meanwhile, the standard version kicks off at around $60,000. This one comes with a single motor mounted on the rear axle for a rear-wheel drive configuration.

The reservation holders will receive the Acura Energy Key Card that gives them exclusive benefits. Discounts to Acura entertainment partners and special events such as the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and the 2024 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach with VIP access to Acura Owner spaces are on the list.

The Acura ZDX Energy Key Card will be available as both a physical card and a downloadable card in the owners’ digital wallet.

The future owners can choose one of the three available charging packages. Both variants are equipped with a 102 kWh battery pack, which stores enough energy for an EPA-rated range of 340 miles (547 kilometers) for the single-motor version and 288 miles (463 kilometers) for the dual-motor ZDX S.

The model was designed at Acura’s Design Studio in Los Angeles. The lines of the vehicle were inspired by the Acura Precision EV Concept, which was unveiled at Monterey Car Week last year. The low-slung silhouette and the long wheelbase make it look more like a sports car and less like an SUV.

On board the Acura ZDX, there is the 22-inch high-definition digital screen, which integrates the instrument cluster and the central touchscreen. Furthermore, this is the first model to feature the Bang & Olufsen audio system with 18 speakers, four of which are mounted in the headliner.

Customers can build and reserve the car they should get in early 2024. The carmaker promises a simple and intuitive shopping experience through a new, omni-channel digital sales process, from either at home or at an Acura dealership.
