Since the 2014 North American International Auto Show is almost here, the guys from Kia decided on making things interesting and revealed a bit more of their GT4 Stinger.
Besides the details that were already known such as the fact that the vehicle is a low-slung 2+2 sports car incorporating a “Tiger Nose” grille plus some awesome vertical LED headlights, now we got more technical info.

According to a press release from Kia, the GT4 Stinger has a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission that  directs “power to the rear wheels where 275/35R20 Pirelli P-Zero performance tyres meet the asphalt.” Power is provided by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that develops 315 hp.Also, for strength and weight reduction, the car incorporates custom 20-inch aluminium centre-lock wheels featuring carbon fibre inserts.

Moreover, the GT4 has two-piece cross-drilled rotors with four-piston calipers and a custom chassis that has an independent double wishbone suspension. This might not be a lot but Kia did manage to tease us till the big unveiling of next next.
