The Blue Oval Company is preparing for a massive celebration this April – the arrival of the 60th anniversary Mustang GT appearance package, which should become live the same day (April 17) that the original pony car debuted at the New York World's Fair in 1964.
Before that, Ford had reconfirmed that its Mustang nameplate was the best-selling sports car worldwide – yet again. However, there is only so much you can say or do with the sole passenger car nameplate in your lineup – even if the model is an icon that seeks to keep the V8 engine alive for as long as possible.

Other than that, all you can do is revert to the usual crossover, SUV, and truck shenanigans. As such, it is no wonder that Ford is doing all sorts of things with its high riders as of recently, including preparing a secret F-150 Lightning for this year's Pikes Peak Hill Climb event or a Bronco Raptor grade developed specifically for this year's solar eclipse with the Blackout Package.

Speaking of dark and menacing stuff, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators isn't idle either, and they are trying their best to assist FoMoCo with new CGI ideas. For example, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have unofficially imagined the CGI looks of the unannounced 2025 Ford Explorer 'Black Edition.'

The 2025 Explorer was presented earlier this year alongside the more luxurious 2025 Lincoln Aviator – the Ford sibling has a new face with a bigger radiator grille (which changes its design based on trim selection), fresh headlights and taillights, plus a significant overhaul of the cabin's layout – redesigned dashboard has more space and 12.3-inch instrument cluster plus a 13.2-inch infotainment screen for the all-new Ford Digital Experience, which continues to integrate Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, among many other smart features, unlike their rivals from General Motors.

Prices for the updated model, which is set to arrive at nationwide dealerships starting with the second quarter of the year, kick-off at $39,625 without destination, and there are four trim levels to choose from – Active, ST-Line, Platinum, and ST. Well, as it turns out, the channel's host and the resident pixel master thought it fitting to add a fifth grade called 'Black Edition.' Naturally, it could be had with a black exterior and interior colorway, but that's not the only option.

Indeed, the gist of it all would be to sport all-black (glossy) design elements – black radiator grille, black Ford and Explorer badging and script, black alloy wheels, and black body trim plus a black rooftop. However, according to this unofficial vision, customers could also select the 2025 Ford Explorer Black Edition in just about any other color – both on the outside and inside the cabin. So, which is your favorite?
