Unlike Chevrolet, which has five new vehicles – all-new 2025 Equinox and Equinox EV, refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban, plus the Silverado EV – GMC currently puts on the waiting list only the all-new 2024 Acadia mid-size crossover SUV and the first-ever Sierra EV Denali Edition 1.
However, since Chevrolet has already outed the 2025 Tahoe and 2025 Suburban, it is only natural that a refresh for the GMC Yukon and its Yukon XL sibling is coming sooner or later. Well, the rumor mill and the imaginative realm of digital car content creators believes that it's sooner, rather than later.

More precisely, quite a few prototypes of the 2025 Yukon have been spotted lately, and one of them was almost devoid of camouflage while wearing the Denali tag on the sides. Naturally, the rumor mill immediately caught wind of it, and from there, an unofficial CGI presentation – or two – was just around the corner.

The Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info corroborated with their virtual designs; now, there are new CGI ideas about the upcoming Yukon – again. Not long ago, the resident pixel master presented the channel's vision about the 2025 or 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 full-size pickup truck – and it was full of subtle upgrades across the board.

More recently, the channel's pixel master also worked on the 2025 or 2026 GMC Yukon AT4 to showcase its virtual credentials across Imagination Land. It followed the same percepts as the 2025 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban siblings – modified front graphics, new alloy wheels, and potential changes to the bumpers and taillights. Now, though, based on the latest spied prototype, there's also the ritzier 2025 or 2026 GMC Yukon Denali (or even Ultimate) served up on the CGI platter.

Well, it wasn't all that hard – the spied prototypes are almost barren of dizzy camouflage, and we can already see the side profile with the appropriate badges and the front plus rear lighting clusters. Additionally, compared to the previous unofficial rendering of the Yukon AT4, all the CGI expert had to do was eliminate bumper accessories like the red tow hooks and the additional lights plus graphics to obtain the cleaner, ritzier Yukon Denali (Ultimate) flagship trim level.

As for the other credentials of this subtle facelift procedure, all we have to do is look at the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban for hints about what will happen with the 2025 or 2026 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL – most likely they are coming with modified front and rear fascias with updated headlights, larger OEM wheels (Chevy offers up to 24 inches!), a more powerful 3.0-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine, and – of course – some pretty big upgrades on the inside with bigger displays. However, don't expect the same layout as seen on the Chevy models – the spied prototype showed a portrait-style orientation of the massive central screen.
