Stellantis Australia is bringing the refreshed 2024 Jeep Wrangler to the Land Down Under this spring in both two- and four-door guise. However, we need to wait a little longer to find the MSRPs.
Jeep is having a busy year for a niche manufacturer of all-wheel drive vehicles – earlier this year, they presented the refreshed 2024 Wrangler and its sibling with a bed, the Gladiator mid-size pickup truck. Now it's time for the regional launches, as the iconic off-road SUV is almost ready to make its way into far-away places like Australia.

At home in the United States, the legendary Wrangler starts from a little over $32k, but in the Land Down Under, it's probably going to be more expensive – as Stellantis not only ships the SUV halfway across the world, but it also needs to change the position of the steering wheel. Momentarily, we are here to discover all the juicy details about the Australian specification of the 2024 Wrangler sans pricing. So, let's get started.

With "enhanced capability, safety, and technology, as well as an updated front grille and new wheel designs for each variant," the fresh 2024 Jeep Wrangler also has a new 2.0-liter four-pot turbo engine with "higher torque and better fuel efficiency." Locally, the new entry-level trim is the Sport S with four doors, which replaces the current Night Eagle variant. The new range comprises four versions: Sport S 4DR, Overland 4DR, and Rubicon 2DR plus 4DR. The colors are Bright White, Black, Firecracker Red, Sarge, Hydro Blue, High Velocity, Silver Zynith, Earl, Granite Crystal, and Anvil, by the way.

The key upgrades for the 2024 model year include the 2.0L, a Dana 44 Full-float HD rear axle plus standard front TrailCam plus Nappa leather seats on Rubicons, new front grille and wheels, windshield antenna, front 'Gorilla Glass' windshield, side curtain airbags, NVH improvements across the board, front power seats on Overland and Rubicon, plus the Uconnect 5 with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The 2.0-liter engine rocks 268 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.

The entry-level Sport S features standard heated front seats and steering wheel, ambient lighting, and all variants boast an integrated accessory rail on top of the dashboard for easy smartphone and action camera mounting. Overland and Rubicon trims add standard 12-way power seating (including 4-way lumbar adjust), among others.

Sport S and Overland models use the Selec-Trac 4x4 system, which offers easy 2WD to 4WD automatic transitions, and Rubicon arrives with the Rock-Trac 4x4 setup that includes a 4:1 low gear ratio, Tru-Lok electronic locking front and rear differentials, and an electronic front sway bar disconnect. Safety is also improved, and Jeep offers an easy choice among trims and options – the latter only includes the premium paint, the Sky-one-touch power top on Overland and Rubicon 4DR, plus the 18-inch alloy wheel solely on Overland.
