It seems that legacy automakers can do nothing to propel their EV sales to Tesla-matching levels, but some of them need not worry about such 'trifle' things because they have other, better (truck) things to do.
Now that Tesla is preparing to (finally) release the Cybertruck into the wild after years of wait, Ford has already taken strict measures to mitigate losses and dropped the F-150 Lightning Pro's price by no less than $10k. So, it's going to be very interesting to see how the two fare against each other once Chevy and Ram also enter the fray with the 2024 Silverado EV and Ram 1500 REV, respectively.

But Ford doesn't worry too much about that, actually. If you look at the sales charts for the first six months of the year, it turns out that while GM leads Toyota at the group level, Ford is right on their trail and also the dominant force when speaking of separate brands. Most of that prowess is derived from the continued success of the F-Series models, which sold better than expected and surged almost 30% during the period.

As such, no wonder that the Blue Oval Company is diligently preparing to refresh its best asset – the mighty F-150 model. We have already seen prototypes spied on by our spy photographer partners, and many reckon the design changes will be subtle. At the same time, the facelift will instead focus on many technology upgrades and a bold new infotainment system. However, that doesn't mean the rumor mill can't dream about a cool new 2024MY Ford F-150. Even better, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is giving them a helping hand – the Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info that is corroborated with their virtual designs; now there is a new CGI take on the upcoming F-150 Tremor.

The model is a truck that "will make the ground quake," according to Ford, and it forms an integral part of the lineup from almost $61k if you want the current 2023 model year. Just like the XL and XLT are the workhorses and the Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, or Limited are the lifestyle-oriented models, the Tremor joined the fray as a sidekick to the mighty F-150 Raptor and will mix rugged off-road capability with lots of towing and payload hauling.

Interestingly, according to this unofficial vision, the 2024 Ford F-150 Tremor will take even more after the EcoBoost V6 or V8-powered F-150 Raptor and Raptor R models, and the channel's resident pixel master only expects subtle tweaks at headlights, front bumper, and rear LEDs level. So, do you agree, or do you think Ford should proceed with a strategy of more profound styling modifications to keep the F-150 lineup interesting?
