The Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally just debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the Blue Oval company not only sells it but also dearly hopes you will buy one. That is because there are signs the EV market growth may be slowing down.
At US dealers, inventories are swelling, and in other regions, sales may be limited by rising sticker prices that gravely affect the consumer's purchase force. So, many things must be done to keep the EV mojo flowing. Meanwhile, no such concerns exist for the rising crossover, SUV, and truck sectors.

With US sales now at halftime for 2023, we can easily reflect on their combined six-month performance. The key takeaway is that General Motors maintains its lead on Toyota for the second time. Plus, Tesla has quickly decimated the EV competition (including thanks to lower MSRPs), and compact crossover SUVs are now the largest sector across the automotive market.

Ford has also grown almost 10% to just shy of a million units – and even took first place in terms of brands. And that is mainly because of its continued F-Series nameplate's success (almost 383k units), which is no small feat. But how do you keep the popularity flowing with so many distractions across various segments? Well, the Blue Oval company has the Lightning EV pickup truck along with an all-new Super Duty as the freshest offerings. And while the latest Ranger (plus Ranger Raptor) has already been presented, one central hero is missing in action – the almighty F-150.

Across the rumor mill, there are many whispers that Ford is gearing up for the refreshed version of the fourteenth generation, and of course, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has decided to take a swing at unofficially presenting all the full-size pickup truck goodies. Interestingly, some of these dreamers do not even live in America yet still have an opinion on the fresh Ford F-150 matters. So, let us meet the Turkish virtual automotive artist behind the Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch channel on YouTube, who has a slightly different interpretation of how the Ford pickup trucks should look like.

Unsurprisingly, the main hero of this CGI video (embedded below) is the top-selling Ford F-150 full-size pickup truck. But the styling confidently fuses distinct new elements like the fresh grille treatment or different LED headlights with traits seen on the smaller Ranger mid-size pickup truck. The author might even suggest this could be an alternative styling for the 4x4 pickup truck models, maybe even thinking about a unified approach to the Maverick, Ranger, and F-Series series. By the way, this is all wishful thinking, so do remember to take all these renderings with a healthy dose of salt!
