Do you know who's the American truck power couple dominating the sales charts of the US market during the second quarter? Why it's the Ford Maverick and F-Series, of course – and they are only seldom interrupted in their love affair with the consumers because a Toyota Tacoma keeps wedging in between them as the most popular mid-size truck choice.
The latest results are finally in, and without any surprises, the Ford F-Series (F-150 and Super Duty) has kept its crown as the leader of the full-size sector with an increasing lead over its pursuers both during the second quarter and when discussing the year-to-date tally. The Toyota Tacoma is by far the most beloved mid-sizer, and the unibody compact pickup truck sales have seen the Maverick sell twice better than its only rival – Hyundai's Santa Cruz.

But, of course, the leads need to be entertained to keep leading, which is why the rumor mill is diligently focusing on the upcoming mid-life-cycle update for the Ford F-150, with the fourteenth generation representing the bread and butter of deliveries for the F-Series. First presented in 2020 as a 2021MY, all reports about the F-150 claim that the Blue Oval Company thinks a 2024MY or 2025MY refresh is ideal for keeping the model on top of buyer preferences.

Logic dictates that when the rumor mill starts discussing rumors and prototypes are being spied on, the imaginative realm of digital car content creators is never too far away from expressing its vision, as well – sometimes on more than one occasion. For example, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have repeatedly envisioned the upcoming facelift – complete with all colorful goodies or with all possible interior changes.

However, as months pass and the spy photographers catch new batches of prototypes with less and less camouflage, there is always a need to update the unofficial CGIs. As such, the channel's resident pixel master has again imagined the CGI looks of the upcoming F-150 mid-cycle refresh, complete with many colors and the definitive conclusion that the most beloved member of the F-Series will switch its infotainment lifestyle to a portrait orientation like on other recent models. Naturally, the traditional color reel is also present and accounted for, complete with many ritzy options.

By the way, this 2024 or 2025 model year Ford F-150 presented unofficially here is the Lariat version of the popular truck series. Moving forward, if the Blue Oval Company doesn't surprise us with a quick revelation of the facelifted model, they will also strive to (hypothetically) depict all other trims (Platinum, Raptor, etc.) so that we can CGI-grade them according to our personal preferences. Cool, right?
