We’re all passed that rumored spring launch date for Ford’s new Bronco, and we are still to see the fully uncovered, official variant of the SUV. A lot of events conspired in making Ford push the reveal further in the future, so for now we’re still left with gazing at spyshots.
The revival of one of the Blue Oval’s most famous nameplates is probably still on track to take place this year, and testimony to that are the countless images coming to us via more or less professional photographers, from either the test tracks or even from inside the Ford factories where the Bronco is being assembled.
In the gallery above we have the two-door variant of the Bronco, one that at the beginning of March was possibly leaked, together with the four-door incarnation, without any visible camouflage.
The Bronco in the gallery above, the two-door variant of it, is obviously still disguised to the teeth, but this time there’s something different about it.
The main change compared to the previous spyshots we were treated with is the lack of the raised roof camouflage.
Although still wearing a film of black and white covers all over, the Bronco seen here is the closest to its actual dimensions we’ve seen in such a guise. According to the photographer who captured it like this, what can be seen under the camo can very well be the rigid roof, one of the options that would be made available for the range. Also, we now get to see the rear-mounted spare tire.
At this point, there is no information on when exactly we’ll get to see the Bronco in some official form. The Blue Oval is probably still waiting for the storms of all that’s going on in America to pass, because a proper launch for this model might prove essential in the success of the new Bronco family.
