2011 Mercedes CLS Lorinser Tuning Package in the Works

After we’ve seen how the upcoming 2011 Mercedes CLS will look in factory stock trim, it’s time to get a glimpse of a tuned version of the anticipated four-door coupe.Following its tradition of releasing tuning sketches for vehicles before these that have been introduced to the market, the German tuner Lorinser is presenting its modification plans for the second generation of the Mercedes CLS.

The vehicle will feature a complete body kit, which will offer it an aggresive appearance. At the front of the CLS, we can see a new bumper that comes with large air intakes, LED daytime running lights, and a new type of sports grille. The car also uses a new hood, which includes two air vents, which use a bold design.

Moving to the side of the vehicle, we find a new set of side skirts, as well as new air vents located on the front fenders, which feature the same type of grille used on the front of the car. The CLS makes extensive use of the tuner’s branding, as the front bumper and the side skirts wear the “Lorinser” logo, while the Mercedes star on the front grille has been replaced with the tuning house’s logo.

The Lorinser Mercedes CLS rides on a set of large lightweight rims, which feature a two-colour finish, with a polished outer circle and a center side that matches the car’s body color. In addition to that, Lorinser announced that the CLS tuning pack will include modifications for the engine and chassis, as well as an interior upgrade kit.
