Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, Bodykit by Lorinser

So what if the car to be tuned is not quite here yet? After all, it is the ones who think ahead who will win the race (or something). After yesterday we presented you the "in the works" Ferrari 458 Italia body kit from ASI, it is time to see what Lorinser is preparing for the SLS AMG gullwing. And once they get their hands on it...

...this is what will come out. The renderings you can see here show a possible way in which the SLS will look like once it exits the tuner's garage. As with ASI, there are two possible ways in which the SLS will look like.

In one case, you may as well wonder "where is the SLS?" The body kit heavily modifies the car, making it look more aggressive than AMG
intended. The spoiler bumper now comes with a carbon insert, arch-shaped air inlet and double fog lights, with the three-pointed star removed and replaced by Lorinser's logo.

Modifications have also been made to the sides of the car, with Lorinser side sills, complete with fiber composite material inserts. A carbon hood is also provided.

The second body kit being considered by Lorinser is a bit more clean, adding only a few touches, like a stronger segmentation of the front rear and one-piece side sills with air inlets.

As we did with the 458 Italia, we recommend you to take a look at the original SLS AMG, as it was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show. You can decide for yourself if a body kit is a good idea or not, especially because the model hasn't even hit the dealerships yet.
