2011 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC SE and RSV4 R US Pricing

Set to storm the North American dealerships starting mid 2011, the RSV4 Factory APRC SE and the RSV4 R will come priced at $22,499 and $15,000 respectively. WHile teh first only comes in Racing Black, the latter will be available in two color schemes, namely WHite Glam and Black Line.

Taken separately, the 2011 Factory APRC SE incorporates a new electronic management system that includes traction control, wheelie control, launch control and quick shift.

The APRC designation is short for Aprilia Performance Ride Control, which uses an automotive inertial platform with two turn meters and two accelerometers that enable the ECU to track dynamic conditions and adjust engine control consequently.

The electronic system comprises Aprilia Traction Control (ATC, with 8 settings, selectable via a joystick mounted on the left handlebar!), Aprilia Wheelie Control (AWC, with three settings), Aprilia Launch Control (ALC, with three settings) and Aprilia Quick Shift (AQS, which allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch and without closing the throttle).

The special edition RSV4 is fitted with the first V-4 engine ever in a sports production bike, Ride By Wire, dual display mode for instrument panel display: ROAD and RACE, a lighter exhaust system, and homologated new-generation extra performance dual blend 200/55 Pirelli tires, among others.

On the other hand, the 2011 Aprilia RSV4 R comes with a Multimap Ride-by-Wire technology (T-TRACK, S-SPORT and S-ROAD), a compact single silencer, a clutch equipped with mechanical slipper system, Brembo brakes, and a fully adjustable suspension.
