The Aprilia Tuono 1000 R Factory was a naked sports motorcycle released in 2006 alongside the Tuono 1000R. Compared to the Tuono 1000 R model, the Factory version came equipped with fully adjustable Ohlins suspensions and several other differences.
Some other differences were characterized by blue or gold-anodized forged aluminum wheels (depending on the model year), a gold-finished frame, the Aprilia Lion's head signature on the fuel tank, and numerous carbon fiber elements.
Some of its unique characteristics were represented by the latest generation Magnesium V60 engine, larger diameter exhaust pipes, a new engine mapping, and carbon fiber parts, such as the belly pan, side panels, fenders, and spoilers.
The visual department was characterized by an aggressive nose fairing, gold-finished fork sliders, frame, and wheels, a dual exhaust system, a single seat with lumbar support and a passenger seat cover, and fully adjustable Ohlins suspensions.
The bike glided on 17-inch forged aluminum spoke wheels fitted with two 320 mm floating stainless steel discs on the front and a 220 mm stainless steel disc on the rear. The discs were squeezed by four-piston Brembo Gold calipers on the front and a two-piston Brembo Gold caliper on the rear.
The 2009 Aprilia Tuono 1000 R Factory took its power from a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin powerhouse that delivered an output power of 139 hp with a peak force at 9,500 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 8,500 rpm.
