APRILIA SXV 450 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Aprilia SXV 450 was a lightweight, aggressive, and fun machine that debuted in 2006 alongside its more off-road-oriented RXV version. In addition, the bike was available in 450cc and 550cc. The larger one was similar in design and delivered more power.

In 2010, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia SXV 450, a supermoto motorcycle in its fifth consecutive production year. It packed the same specifications as the previous model without any modifications whatsoever.

In the aesthetic department, the motorcycle packed standard fittings, such as a small headlight integrated into a tiny cowl, a high-mounted front fender, an engine cover, a one-piece dual seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels shod with road tires.

It was built around a steel perimeter frame with aluminum alloy vertical members. It housed the suspension system comprised of a 48 mm adjustable telescopic fork on the front and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

In the braking department, the motorcycle's wheels were fitted with a 320 mm wave disc, a four-piston caliper on the front, and a 240 mm wave disc with a two-piston caliper on the rear, providing optimum braking performance.

As for power, the 2010 Aprilia SXV 450 had its heartbeat set by a 449cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine with a fuel injection system in charge, delivering an output power of 60 hp with a peak force at 13,000 rpm.
