APRILIA SR Max 125 (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2010, the Italian motorcycle maker introduced the Aprilia SR Max 125 alongside a larger 300cc version with the style inspired by the Aprilia RSV4 Superbike. The scooter was created to go head-to-head with larger scooters like the Suzuki Burgman and Yamaha T-Max.

In 2012, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Aprilia SR Max 125, a fuel-efficient scooter mainly addressing the youngest among Aprilia fans due to its modern and aggressive overall design.

The scooter had standard features, such as a body covered with fairings, a dual headlight system, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

For suspension, the scooter packed a 35 mm hydraulic telescopic fork on the front and preload-adjustable shock absorbers on the rear, delivering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the stopping power, the scooter's wheels were fitted with a 260 mm brake disc mounted on the front wheel and a 240 mm brake disc mounted on the rear wheel. Both discs were handled by hydraulic calipers, offering optimum stopping power.

As for the power figures, the 2012 Aprilia SR Max 125 had its heartbeat set by a 124cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine underneath its fairings, boasting 15 hp with a peak force at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm (9 lb-ft) torque at 8,000 rpm.
