APRILIA RXV 450 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2010, alongside the RXV 550, the Italian motorcycle maker launched the Aprilia RXV 450, an off-road motorcycle that debuted in 2006. Both models were similar in design but differed in performance specifications.

The 2010 RXV 450 came with the same package as the previous model, featuring the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any significant modifications whatsoever.

The latest improvements were made in 2009 and included a new, lighter, and more flexible rear swingarm, a new FIM regulation-compliant exhaust system, a lighter and more compact rear brake caliper, a new fuel system that provided smoother power delivery, a more lightweight rear subframe with a 5 mm lower seat, and black rims.

In the visual department, the motorcycle was fitted with standard features, like a high-mounted front fender, a small headlight, a single two-tone seat, an under-seat-mounted exhaust, a dual-sided aluminum swingarm, an engine plate, and wire-spoke wheels with black rims and off-road tires.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 45 mm adjustable Marzocchi fork on the front and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent handling capabilities.

As for power, the 2010 Aprilia RXV 450 took its muscles from a 449cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine fed by a fuel injection system, delivering 60 hp at 13,000 rpm and 54 Nm (40 lb-ft) torque at 11,000 rpm.
