APRILIA RSV Mille R Nera (2004-2004) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2004, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Aprilia RSV Mille R Nera, the first result of a new Aprilia philosophy. It was a sophisticated and highly refined high-performance machine based on the RSV Mille R Factory, which was already an excellent motorcycle.

The RSV Nera took everything to a new level, beyond common materials and further in refinement and performance. The chosen materials were carbon, titanium, and magnesium, which, put together, formed a lightweight, more powerful, and aggressive motorcycle.

The bike was manufactured in 200 certificate and numbered units, with the style of the RSV 1000 R, further enhanced by a blacked-out appearance and Titanium Gold-painted frame and swingarm. In addition, all the fairings and the fuel tank were made of carbon fiber.

The bike had standard features in the visual department, such as a full fairing with a medium-sized windscreen, a single seat, a dual exhaust system with a silencer mounted on each side, a center stand, and 12-spoke lightweight wheels.

As for the power figures, the Aprilia RSV Mille R Nera had installed a 998cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine underneath its fuel tank, with a fuel injection system feeding the pistons, The engine produced 141 hp with a peak force at 10,000 rpm and 107 Nm (79 lb-ft) torque at 7,750 rpm.
