APRILIA Mana 850 GT ABS (2009-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Aprilia Mana 850 was a naked motorcycle made by Aprilia between 2007 and 2016. It was a small, light, and comfortable motorcycle and was also available partially faired under the Mana 850 GT designation.

In 2009, alongside the standard model, the maker released the Aprilia Mana 850 ABS, a naked machine fitted with an additional safety feature in the form of an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) that offered riders more peace of mind.

Besides that, the 2009 ABS model came with the same package as the base model, featuring the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any significant modifications whatsoever.

An 839cc V-twin powerhouse and an automatic transmission (CVT) set the bike in motion. The transmission provided three riding modes: Sport, Touring, and Rain. The Sport mode provided maximum power, torque, and engine braking, the Touring mode scaled down the responsiveness and improved fuel savings, and the Rain mode reduced torque by 25 percent.

As for the power figures, the 2009 Aprilia Mana 850 ABS had its soul brought to life by an 839cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered 76 hp at 8,000 rpm and 73 Nm (54 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.

The braking power was handled by two 320 mm brake discs with four-piston calipers on the front wheel and a 260 mm disc tied to a single-piston caliper on the rear wheel.
