Mazda will bring its Takeri concept to the Geneva Motor Show, marking the European premiere of the concept, with the vehicle previewing the next generation of the Mazda6, which is rumored to arrive this fall, at the Paris Auto Show.
The Takeri uses Mazda’s KODO design language, applying it on a four-door coupe theme and indicating a future design direction for multiple Mazda models. The concept is fitted with multiple eco technologies, such as the i-ELOOP (“Intelligent Energy Loop”), the company’s first regenerative braking system.
The carmaker’s Geneva booth will also showcase the new Mazda CX-5 compact crossover SUV, the MX-5 Special Edition Spring 2012 (on sale as the ‘Venture Edition’ in the UK), as well as the rest of the carmaker’s range.
