The all-new Honda Accord was reveled not long ago, and despite the fact that the US market car is usually different to the others sold on other markets, it seems that the Japanese giant will be selling what is basically the same car, on both sides of the ‘pond’.
The two sketches were allegedly revealed by Honda Russia, while at the Moscow International Motor Salon. Now, judging by these sketches, the car looks pretty much the same as the US model, however, instead of having a Russian number plate, it features a German one. This has lead us to believe that while the sketches may originate from Honda’s Russian branch, they undoubtedly show the Euro-spec Accord.
So, it seems that aside from a few different engine options (the addition of the 2.2-liter diesel), Europe and Russia will be getting the same car as the US. Also, considering the fact that Honda will be introducing the Acura brand in Russia, in 2014, it seems that the Japanese automaker is beginning to make less of a difference between market needs which are slowly reaching a common point, when the very same cars will sell well anywhere in the world.
