In what we think is a world first, a car dealership in America allowed one of their customers to pay for a Tesla Model S with Bitcoin.
In case you haven't heard of it yet, Bitcoin is open-source peer-to-peer electronic currency, basically money you trade on a computer. It's freely traded and its value is decided by trading, like stocks and bonds.

Lamborghini Newport Beach
, an exotic car dealer from Costa Mesa, California, says it sold the white Tesla Model S Performance and received this online tender in return. We have no details about the transaction, but the Tesla looks like it's worth about $90,000, which is equivalent to about 75 Bitcoins right now.

An electric car bought with electronic money – wait until Musk hears about this!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
