The all-new Toyota Tundra was completely engineered by Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and redesigned by Calty Design research centers in Newport Beach, California.
Design wise, the new Tundra comes with a bolder front fascia, englobing a bigger grille and a taller hood line, more flared fenders while also being more practical and having a better interior.
Toyota has recently announced the 2014 Tundra entered production today at the San Antonio plant in Texas where it’s exclusively built with 75 percent North American content.
Toyota’s Texan plant started assembling Tundra trucks in November 2006, also building the Tacoma model and having an annual capacity of 200,000 units.
In September this year, Toyota’s plant in Texas is expecting to build the 1 millionth vehicle, later in October preparing to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
