Ford came at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show with a pack of 2015 Mustangs to continue to tour the new pony before sending it to dealerships worldwide. The Blue Oval displayed version of both the V8 GT and the EcoBoost, but it never intended to open the hoods for the engines to be revealed.
However, some visitors happened to be around the car when Ford lifted the hood and were quick enough to snap some shots. Thanks to one of them, we were able to take a peek at the updated V8 Coyote a few days ago. Now, another entrant managed to photograph and make an 8-second film of the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine.
Fortunately enough, he sent everything to Hooniverse and both the pictures and the footage surfaced the Internet for Mustang enthusiasts to have a look at the new four-cylinder unit sitting in the pony's engine bay.
Ford has yet to announce official performance figures for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost, but the new engine is expected to deliver around 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque.
