The most anticipated new arrival from MINI is definitely the John Cooper Works model. Apart from looking the part, however, the new car also has to impress from behind the wheel. At the 2014 NAIAS we only got to look at it from the outside.
And still, the Concept looks pretty darn amazing. It has an aggressive front bumper filled with air intakes, an air scoop on the bonnet, some massive brakes under the rims and dashing red stripes all over.
Around the back, the rear spoiler houses the twin tail pipes in the center and flexes its muscles every time you walk by. That’s because we’re expecting the new model to have a bigger engine than before, upgraded to a full 2-liter displacement and more power and torque, making this a worthy rival for the hottest hatches in the segment.
