Zlatan Ibrahimovic visited a luxury store in Milan, Italy, and everyone made efforts to make him feel at home. The soccer legend drove his brand-new Ferrari Purosangue to the store and filled the trunk with shopping bags.
There are not so many parking spots in the center of Milan, the unofficial capital of Italian fashion. You have to walk to just about any store, no matter how expensive, if you want to buy something there. Well, not Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The employees of the Louis Vuitton store found him a parking spot on the sidewalk, right next to a delivery truck and a sign that showed that cars woud be towed away if they park there.

Zlatan got out of the Purosangue, accompanied by his partner, former sales and marketing specialist and model Helena Seger, and went inside the store. They walked out minutes later, and the employees handed them the shopping bags. Zlatan seemed to have trouble opening the trunk of his Ferrari Puroansuge while Helena got in the passenger's seat.

The not-an-SUV Purosangue was a present he gifted himself on his 42nd birthday, on October 3, 2023. He uploaded a photo of the burgundy interior that day, captioning it: "Happy birthday to Zlatan!" This is what he does every single year. It is quite an expensive tradition that he has been keeping for quite some time.

This is how he ended up having an entire fleet of Ferraris, with the most expensive and exclusive of them being in his garage.

The Purosangue reportedly has a two-year waiting list. But not when your name is Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The former AC Milan star, who retired this past summer, had his delivered one year and a half after Ferrari unveiled it.

In 2022, on his 41st birthday, he bought himself not one, but two Ferraris: a Daytona SP3 and an 812 Competitionze A. Both are limited-edition Icona series and both are powered by the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12.

The Daytona SP3 comes with 829 horsepower (840 PS) and 515 lb-ft (697 Nm of torque), while the driver of the 812 Competizione A enjoyed its 819 horsepower (830 PS) and 510 lb-ft (692 Nm) of torque.

He got a Ferrari Monza SP2 on his 40th birthday and a Ferrari SF90 Spider when he turned 39. But his latest 'Prancing Horse' is Ferrari's first four-door, something that Zlatan could not miss for the world.

The model comes with the 6.5-liter V12, which delivers 715 horsepower (720 PS) and 528 lb-ft (716 Nm) to all four corners via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It does the 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) run in 3.3 seconds and hits a top speed of 193 mph (311 kph).

That is something that Zlatan can't put to the test in Italy, where the highway speed limit is 130 kph (80 mph), and definitely not in Milan, where he can't drive faster than 50 kph (31 mph), with many areas being limited to 30 kph (18.6 mph). But we all know that the soccer star isn't terribly fond of rules.

Keep in mind that he met his partner, Helena, after he had parked his Ferrari (why isn't that a surprise?) in a way that blocked her Mercedes coming out of the parking spot. "Quite gruffly, I told him to move it out of the way, and yes, he saw something he liked," Helena told the story of meeting Zlatan more than 20 years ago.
