One might think that after six years, we may have gotten bored of the Lamborghini Urus. And we have, as we don't find it particularly attractive nor that appealing due to its VW Group underpinnings shared with everything from the Touareg and Audi Q7 to the Porsche Cayenne and Bentley Bentayga.
However, every once in a while, one particular copy mesmerizes us, just like this purple example that's currently enjoying its 15 minutes of fame on social media. Images of it were uploaded to Instagram by @carlifestyle recently, which quoted @velosdesignwerks and @rdbla, as these are the companies behind the mods.

It appears that the carbon fiber widebody kit is the work of RDB LA. The Lamborghini Urus in question has fender flares with fake vents at both ends, some add-ons in the OEM front bumper and apron, and a new rear diffuser. A chunkier spoiler decorates the tailgate, joined by a wing at the upper end. The VLS 07 wheels came from Velos Designwerks, and they are available in several configurations and multiple finishes.

Just like its real exotic siblings that feature mid-engine constructions, this Lamborghini Urus rocks the lively finish like a champ. It has a satin purple look to make it stand out wherever it goes, with the occasional black accents here and there and a darkened roof. The windows were tinted all around, and the only image of the interior that we could find shows that this super crossover features black leather upholstery.

From what we can tell, this is the pre-facelifted iteration of the Italian company's high-rider. If that's the case, then it left the factory floor with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine making 641 hp (650 ps/478 kW) at 6,000 rpm, with the torque standing at 627 pound-feet (850 Nm) from 2,250 to 4,500 rpm. The stock Urus can sprint to 62 mph (100 kph) in 3.6 seconds, needs 12.8 seconds to hit 124 mph (200 kph) and can keep pushing up to 190 mph (305 kph).

Since there's no word about the firepower, we think this purple widebody example retains the original output and thrust, which is slightly inferior to the facelifted iteration that comprises the Urus S and the more track-focused Urus Performante. Both have 657 hp (666 ps/490 kW), and the torque is identical to that of the original. The S is one-tenth quicker to 62 mph, and the Performante drops the time to only 3.3 seconds while also increasing the top speed to 191 mph (306 kph).

The Lamborghini Urus S has an MSRP north of the $230,000 mark in the United States, and its more extreme sibling, the Urus Performante, is estimated to cost upwards of $260,000, not counting those greedy dealer markups.
