This Lamborghini Urus S used to shine brighter than a star at one point – not when it left the factory floor, but when flames engulfed it, leaving it almost completely unrecognizable.
If it wasn't for the rear three-quarter design and some of the lines on the front fender and door, we would've been left scratching our heads trying to determine what make and model we're looking at. The fire got the best of it, as nothing looks salvageable. Other than perhaps the wheels, yet we wouldn't trust them with our rides.

Normally, the wreckage would be put into the crusher, but it is actually for sale. We kid you not, the vendor hopes someone will actually buy it to do God only knows what with it. They could brag about owning an almost brand-new Lamborghini Urus S, albeit one that doesn't run. Heck, you'll have to really know your cars to tell that this was a V8-powered beast that started life in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.

Not many people know what happened to it that led to the fire, and we're not part of that crowd. We could speculate that it might have burst into flames as a result of a crash, as the back end looks seriously messed up. Or maybe it was damaged during the loading and/or unloading on the trailer that took it to the salvage yard. But that would be pure speculation, and nobody wants that.

As for the website that hopes to sell it, it is the famous automotive hall of shame called iaai, more specifically, their Fremont office in California. This Lamborghini Urus S will try and change hands as part of an online auction at a yet undisclosed date, and it is certainly not the only unsalvageable wreckage listed on the quoted website, which is ready to take your cash for more junk, in addition to other rides that only need a little bit of TLC.

But what exactly is a Lamborghini Urus S? That would be the direct successor to the pre-facelifted iteration, a more street-focused version compared to the sportier and equally-powerful Performante. Presented a little over a year ago, it has 657 hp (666 ps/490 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) available via the right pedal. The upgraded twin-turbo V8 allows it to hit 62 mph (100 kph) in 3.5 seconds, two-tenths slower than the Performante, and max out at 190 mph (305 kph).

The sticker price on a brand-new Lamborghini Urus S, or should we say the MSRP, is under $235,000 in the United States. Nonetheless, check a few boxes on the options list, and you will have to pay much more than that. You could also land a cheap copy, like the one pictured above if driving is not your thing.
