Oscar Vargas, the virtual artist better known as wb.artist20 on social media, continues to dream of automotive stuff that can also be made in the garage – a very big one this time around.
This pixel master is something of a quirky automotive artist among CGI experts – he's not only a creator of 3D concepts but also builds Utes. Yep, that's something that can only happen in Texas, of course, as this Houston-based family man loves just about everything from the Big Detroit Three (but especially Mopars) and now also moonlights as a builder of Smyth Performance coupe utility conversion kits.

His first Ute creation is nothing else other than his personal Dodge Charger sedan transformed into a spectacular matte-black, slammed, and widebody coupe utility muscle car. But he's not picky – he will also work on models like the Chrysler 300 or Volkswagen Beetle and also design upcoming projects for Steeda Performance Vehicles. That sounds interesting, right?

Steeda, the creator of serialized vehicles from Pompano Beach, Florida, is also a known apparition in the world of motorsports – together with McQueen Racing, they "race what they build," so their precision-tuned vehicles are tested under grueling conditions, both at the dragstrip and local track. Also, they'll need an off-road course soon because they're taking off the beaten path with "the beast of all beasts: the all-new Steeda F-150 Tremor!"

Featuring "earth-shattering glory, Steeda engineers have built a major seismic fault at their design and testing headquarters in Valdosta, Georgia. In fact, they've put their seismologist hats on and declared the Tremor to be a 10.0 magnitude on the Adrenaline Richter Scale. It doesn't get any wilder than that!  Once you've experienced the Tremor with its never-before-seen levels of performance, the aftershocks will stay with you for weeks."

That's a lot of cosplay between tremors and earthquakes, right? Well, it seems that they might be on to something – even if only virtually, at the moment. That's right – Vargas is making the illusion of existence, but it's still possible to see that the Steeda F-150 Tremor is not real, at least yet. Instead, when it's all said and done, the "epicenter" Steeda Tremor's "jaw-dropping performance" will be the supercharged 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that will put to shame even the mighty 720-hp Ford F-150 Raptor R with an estimated 800 horsepower.

Now, if we take a look at Ford's online configurator, the refreshed 2024 F-150 doesn't have the Tremor version at the top of the performance MSRP charts. The lineup starts with the $36,770 XL – designed for maximum utility and hard work. It follows with the STX at $43,895 because performance and style can blend together into one truck (according to Ford), the $47,620 XLT version with the widest range of engine choices, and then the base division concludes with the off-road-oriented Tremor at $64,150. It is the flagship of the new entry-level tier, but after that, Ford also offers the $65k Lariat, $74k King Ranch, $74k Platinum, as well as the Raptor from $78,330.

In fact, after the facelift, there are now three tiers of the F-150 series, with the Lariat and King Ranch slotted above the lesser models and the Platinum and Raptor on top of everyone. If you want the Ram 1500 TRX-beating 720-hp Ford F-150 Raptor R with the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 under the hood, you would even have to churn out no less than $112,895 if you factor in the $645 acquisition fee, $1,995 destination charges, as well as the $31,925 switch from Raptor to Raptor R on top of the $78,330 base MSRP!

Interestingly, you can have more power from Steeda – they promise an estimated 800 hp (as much as the $325k Ford Mustang GTD) thanks to the addition of a Whipple supercharger to the iconic 5.0-liter Coyote V8, all for $37k plus the base Ford vehicle. Obviously, if we do the math, a $64,150 Tremor plus $37k equates to $101,150, so you're actually coming out cheaper with a conversion from the tuner specialist – and it's more powerful than the 720-hp Raptor R. Additionally, the company promises handling, suspension, and braking enhancements along with several styling upgrades to make sure the "tectonic plates are shifting underneath it." The perks include custom Fox Factory Race Series Internal Bypass Shocks, Nitto Ridge Grappler Off-Road tires on 18-inch OEM wheels, a Steeda Graphics Package, and many more.

Additionally, there are also optional goodies to make the truck even more unique – 20-inch Raceline Performance wheels with 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler Performance tires, a Brembo front brake kit with six-piston calipers, and 15-inch slotted rotors, Dune or Snow/Cold Weather packages, AMP Research Powerstep XL running boards, and the choice to fully customize additional content packages. As is the case with other self-respecting tuners like Hennessey or Roush Performance, Steeda doesn't forget to offer the highest quality standards on the Steeda Tremor F-150 via ISO Certification Compliance and backs everything up with a three-year or 36k-mile limited warranty.
