Authorities are auctioning off 32 cars that belonged to an online influencer after he was sentenced to prison for a copyright infringement scheme. His YouTube channel has not been active for the past two years. The investigation started in 2021.
The man behind the 'Omi in a Hellcat' online character is Bill Omar Carrasquilo, the owner of a YouTube channel followed by over 818,000 people. His channel has not been active for a long while, as he was trialed and sentenced to prison back in March for what the U.S. Department of Justice called a "wide-ranging copyright infringement scheme."

The last video that he uploaded on YouTube was two years ago and showed him taking delivery of a 2020 Dodge Challenger 50th Edition and a 2020 Challenger Scat Pack.

Bill Omar Carrasquillo will have to serve five and a half years in prison for piracy of cable TV, access device fraud, wire fraud, money laundering and infringement copyright worth of hundreds of thousands of dollars. According to the authorities, Carrasquillo built a fortune (approximately $30 million) by reselling copyright content from cable television accounts. Much of that money has been invested into his car collection.

Now his entire car collection, made up of 32 models, that featured several times in the video he uploaded on his YouTube channel, will all be auctioned off, U.S. marshals decided. All the vehicles, a total of 57 examples, were seized, and so were his fancy bikes, side-by-sides, and ATVs.

Many of them showed up in the videos he used to upload on YouTube before the investigation started. He had the channel since 2019. His first video shows him switching from a Lamborghini Urus to a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and talking about his construction company and how he started making his fortune.

The star of the collection is a Lamborghini Aventador, which sports a Power Ranger livery. The car was specifically wrapped for his YouTube channel. Two Lamborghini Huracans, a Urus super SUV, a 2019 Acura NSX, a 2020 Audi R8 V10, a Bentley Continental GT V8, two Dodge Challenger Hellcats, and a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS only having12 miles (19 kilometers) on the odometer, were part of his collection.

Most of the cars that belonged to the YouTube star are either white or grey, except for the Lamborghini in the Power Rangers wrap.

The auction is set to take place on October 13. Pre-idding has already started online, on September 29, before the official sale scheduled for next week. After 56 bids, the Lamborghini Aventador has already hit $385,000.
