The luxury US automaker is preparing for an all-out assault on the fashionable EV lifestyle with the 2025 Optiq, 2024 Lyriq, 2026 Vistiq, 2025 Escalade IQ, and Celestiq, but that doesn't mean it has forgotten about its ICE-powered goodies – especially the ritzy Escalade full-size SUV.
Chevrolet recently announced the refreshed 2025 Tahoe and Suburban full-size SUVs. GMC is probably almost ready for the upgraded 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL. As such, is anyone surprised that Cadillac is also preparing the mid-cycle facelift for the luxury siblings – the 2025 Escalade and Escalade ESV?

Well, not at all, especially if you're carefully watching the latest updates stemming from the rumor mill. As it turns out, the virtual artist better known as c_zr1 on social media has caught a post from GM-Trucks with an uncamouflaged black prototype of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade V-Series. It showcased without any dizzying camouflage all the changes compared to the current models that start from $152,295 for the 2024 model year.

At the front, there are much slimmer LED headlights, smaller LED DRLs, a modified radiator grille that's now better divided into two pieces, and a redesigned bumper integrating new vents. Aside from sporting different wheels, the side profile appears unchanged, and the rear has refreshed taillights. In the cabin, meanwhile, there's a veritable revolution.

More precisely, instead of the half-width display-in-display instrument cluster and infotainment sector, now there's a full-width LCD spanning across the entire dashboard and a secondary display right in the middle, below it. As far as we can tell, it certainly feels inspired by the presentation inside the all-electric Escalade IQ, and it might be adopted by all models, not just the Escalade-V.

Naturally, since the leak comes courtesy of a member of the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, an unofficial design project was only normal – and he rendered pronto the hypothetical 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V complete with much fresher colors than a simple glossy black: crimson, gray, green, or blue. So, how do you feel about the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V, and which is your favorite CGI color if this unofficial idea gets the stamp of approval?

Additionally, bear in mind that these aren't official pictures from General Motors, so take all the leaks and renderings with a healthy dose of salt until Cadillac makes the 2025 Cadillac Escalade series and Escalade-V models official. Also, there's currently no word on what happens under the skin – so there is no way of knowing what powertrains are coming for the 2025 model year.

Our educated guess, if you want our two cents on the matters, is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will feature the uprated Duramax diesel with 10% more power like on the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, as well as unchanged ratings for the 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 and supercharged V8 mills.
