Hip hop star Travis Scott has got one color obsession. It has been going on for ages, and he can't seem to get over it, no matter how much he’s been testing the waters with white, black, and even orange. Travis paints or wraps all his cars in mocha brown.
This started years ago. Clothes, accessories, home furniture, and, of course, cars. None escaped. Everything around him is injected with a heavy dose of his all-time favorite shade. He doesn't step outside his home without it. It's like this color is his Siamese twin.

It's not that he did not try to get rid of it. He bought his cars white, black, gray, or even orange. None of them actually worked for him, so he took them to his favorite customization shop, West Coast Customs. That's where A-listers such as Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber take their cars for a makeover.

When he drove out of the shop, Scott's cars were all brown. It was West Coast Customs that got him a body kit for his Lamborghini Urus all the way from Germany. His Urus is – you guessed it! – also brown!

Since he has an estimated net worth of around $60 million and a flair for opulence, no wonder his garage looks like a car show. There is plenty of diversity in terms of models. He's got a Bugatti Chiron, a LaFerrari, a few Lamborghinis, and a couple of Maybachs, among cars that he must have lost track of. But he's done with diversity when it comes to paintworks.

Lately, he has been spotted driving his modded Mercedes bearing the Mansory logo. It is not exactly the kind of car that would win a beauty pageant. While he does own a Mercedes-Benz G650 Landaulet, with the rear seats out in the open, on which he reportedly splashed $1.6 million, the rapper wanted another convertible G-Class.

The model started out in life as a G-Class Cabrio. But Mansory redesigned all the body panels, and called this contraption Speranza, which is Italian for "Hope."

However, we can only hope that it is reversible because we're used to seeing the G-Class looking like it has been looking since the late 1970s. Mercedes has always refrained from altering the looks of the legendary G that started out as a military vehicle.

"This car will make you feel like roaming through a safari park wherever you go," the tuner claims. Travis Scott must get that feeling while driving around Los Angeles, California, or around his hometown, Houston, Texas.

Mansory came up with a redesigned front end. Gone are the iconic round headlights of the G-Class. They are now replaced by trapezoidal units, flanking a new grille. A custom hood, front and rear fender extensions, a redesigned rear bumper, and a custom spare wheel case are on the menu.

The convertible off-roader rides on what seem to be 23-inch forged wheels, while the interior has been customized to meet Scott's preferences. Leather, Alcantara, diamond stitching, and the always-present brown made room in the customized cabin.

Rapper, songwriter, and record producer Travis Scott had a one-again-off-again relationship with beauty mogul Kylie Jenner. They broke up last fall but are co-parenting their daughter Stormi and son Aire. Back then, his cars were also brown.

The Houston rapper has his way of staying in the spotlight. And somehow, he manages to turn the oh-so-boring brown into a head-turner.
