Harley-Davidson’s big offensive in the cruiser segment isn’t stopping with a revised Softail lineup as the motorcycle maker announced three completely restyled Touring machines to enter its limited-edition Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) family for next year. Say hello to the new CVO Limited, CVO Street Glide, and the CVO Road Glide.
All three models are offered with the largest stock engine displacement ever offered by the company, with the new Milwaukee-Eight 117-cubic-inch rated at a massive 125 lb-ft of torque. Everything is topped off sinister black looks and full-customization options with a factory two-year unlimited warranty.

“Our new Touring motorcycles will be some of our most sought-after bikes in 2018,” said Harley-Davidson Vice President of Product Planning and Portfolio Management, Dave Foley. “For CVO, we’ve rebooted the styling tone of the overall lineup and added some exclusive performance enhancements. And our two new custom baggers are the most aggressive, on-trend Touring bikes in the market. I can’t wait for riders to throw a leg over and experience the new rides for themselves.”

The 2018 CVO Street Glide was given a full custom treatment and can be had in three new premium paint schemes along with matching Talon wheels and brake rotors. A top-notch 6.5 BOOM! Box Infotainment System with Stage II speakers blasting up to 900 watts was also deployed to complete the kit.

Coming with an aggressive shark-nose fairing, the 2018 CVO Road Glide is offered with three paint jobs as well, along with a the first factory-installed 21-inch Knockout front wheel and a BOOM! Box 6.5GT infotainment system rated at 600 watts.

The 2018 CVO Limited comes with dual bending valve front suspension and emulsion rear one, which can be hand-adjusted for preload. The custom seat is suspended and heated, also being available with back rests for both rider and passenger.

It can be had in only two special shades, Burgundy Cherry Sunglo Fade or Black Earth Fade, along with a power-locking key fob, ABS Brembo brakes, and the Harley-Davidson Smart Security System.

The offer also stretches to the 2018 Road Glide Special and Street Glide Special, both swapping chrome parts for blacked out ones while getting powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine.

Their dark finishes stretch from headlight to exhaust, with new 19-inch front and 18-inch rear Talon rims, engine guard, front forks, handlebars and hand controls, mirrors, turn signals, tank console, engine covers, air cleaner cover, and exhaust pipes, all being blacked out.

Performance is enhanced by the same type of suspension and brake system found on the CVO Limited along with an identical infotainment system.

Price and availability haven’t been announced, so it’s best to consult with your local Harley-Davidson dealer for more information.
