This Tuned Mercedes-AMG G 63 Is So Ugly Mansory Might Advertise It As Their Own

There's a new controversial tuner on the block, and it's called Keyvany. This five-year-old company has left its mark on several high-end machines, most of which have tapped into their brash side, including the pictured Mercedes-AMG G 63, which is simply grotesque.
You don't need a side-by-side comparison with the stock G 63 to spot the differences because they're in your face. It's simply repugnant, starting with all sorts of add-ons all around and the red and black look and ending with that white and red leather interior. But there is a positive aspect, too: the added horsepower.

For some reason, Keyvany looked at the front bumper, grille, and hood of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and decided they needed to be more varied. They also messed around with the side trim, rear bumper, and roof, which sports two extra pieces: a wing at the rear and an element at the front with additional lights. Wrapped in thinner tires, the wheels are on the oversized front, and if you look at the side-mounted exhaust tips, you'll see that there are now three of them on each side instead of two. The spare wheel holder says Keyvany on it, and the three-pointed star logo on the grille was swapped for the tuner's emblem.

A punchy off-roader, even one with a premium twist like the modern-day G-Wagen, needs interior upholstery that's on the rugged side. However, this one has white leather with diamond quilting all around. Red was chosen for the trim on the sides of the center console, piping, and seatbelts, and it would've probably looked good in this combination if it were a Lamborghini Urus or a Ferrari Purosangue. From what we can tell, the final upgrade inside this OTT G 63 is the starlight headliner, which is not that refined compared to the feature equipping different Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Do you know how the stock Mercedes-AMG G 63 has 577 horsepower (585 ps/430 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) produced by its 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8? Well, this one has much more than that. In the short caption accompanying the images released on social media recently, which also says "perfection is not a coincidence," the tuner claims it has 820 horsepower. The output is probably metric, which would translate to 808 bhp and 603 kW. There is no reference to the elevated thrust nor the improved straight-line sprint time, but without any outside intervention, the range-topping G-Wagen takes 4.5 seconds to sprint to 62 miles per hour (100 kph) and taps out at 137 mph or 220 kph.

While companies such as Keyvany keep ruining the looks of this potent truck that poses as a premium SUV, other tuners truly bring out the beast within. Brabus' latest proposal, for one, turns it into a longer pickup with an extra axle. The six-wheel-drive overlander costs an arm and a leg, but you already know that, as we covered it yesterday (July 3). If you missed that story, make sure you click on this link, though not before scrolling back up to take a closer look at the images of this controversial build.
