This Mazda RX-7 Has an Engine the Size of its Turbo

While Mazda may or may not bring us a new rotary engine anytime soon, people out there love playing with Wankels and the latest example of this comes from the adjacent clip, showing an RX-7 with an engine the size of its turbo.
The red housing shows the focal point, just in case the gargantuan size of the turbocharger goes unnoticed. This Mazda RX-7 is a drag car, having received an unimaginable amount of customization work.

From the frame, engine, interior, everything was pumped-up for performance, with looks also being touched in the process. The clip below offers us a pretty good look at this custom creation.

As for the performance itself, the video shows the hyperboosted rotary machine pulling a 7.4s time on the drag strip. While the figure may or may not impress everybody, the car certainly puts on a massive show, especially during take-off.
