Renault is pushing its French products hard into the land of Nissans. After the Lutecia hatchback, a rebadged version of the Clio, comes the Lutecia RS, which is as you'd expect the new hot hatch.
The car was launched Yesterday, October 4th, at an event where F1 driver Romain Grosjean demonstrated the car's performance.
You probably already know the full stats on this car: the four-cylinder DOHC 2.0-liter + 6-speed MT has been replaced by a 1.6 TCe turbo similar to the Nissan Jukes, with 200 PS at 6000rpm and 240 Nm from 1750rpm. It's fitted as standard with a new paddle-shit gearbox that changes cogs as fast as 0.150 seconds.
The car is by no means cheap though. The standard Sport chassis Lutecia RS comes in at JPY2,990,000, while the more hardcore Lutecia RS with Cup chassis can be as much as JPY3,240,000.
Full specs and details can be found on their official website.
