If you're looking for an off-grid and off-road-capable camper van that comes with premium features, you could take a look at Rossmonster. I've covered multiple Rossmonster builds on autoevolution – even though they're built in the company's signature style, they each have distinctive elements.
Rossmonster's latest build is based on an AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 170" wheelbase – in fact, most of their camper van projects are built on Sprinter vans. Of course, since Rossmonster prides itself in making deluxe campers, the Sprinter is the option that fits best.

As usual, I'll start with the vehicle's exterior. This rig rides on steel rims wrapped in BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires. I believe the Sprinter would've looked much better with another type of rims, such as those from Black Rhino. However, this is a custom vehicle requested by a customer, so he probably wanted these specific rims.

Since this vehicle is an AWD, it can already handle going off the beaten path. However, Rossmonster wanted to give it an extra edge, so a major upgrade was made to the suspension. The company installed an Evictus 2.65" kit.

This kit was specifically designed for the Sprinter van, and it features anti-cavitation valves and 2.65" steel monotone shock bodies. Moreover, it has a dual-piston design, meaning the system will self-adjust to adapt to the road conditions. Regarding performance, the suspension upgrade will offer a more comfortable ride while decreasing body roll and road noise. All this is offered for a price tag of $10,915 (€10,132).

On top of the rig, you'll discover an enormous Aluminess roof rack. It holds a Fiamma F45 awning, a huge Thule storage box, and a StarLink. Furthermore, at the rear, you'll find an Owl Vans Expedition Box and a B2 bike carrier from the same brand.

Now, let's head on inside. Just like with all of their builds, Rossmonster tastefully designed the interior. This unit features a tongue and groove ceiling with a walnut finish, Sterling Oak flooring, and Duramax steel upholstered wall panels. The look is completed by white cabinetry paired with walnut butcher block countertops and a Kovi Fabric upholstered dinette.

At the front, you'll notice the driver's cabin isn't separated from the living space, making the interior feel roomy. Moreover, the passenger seat can be swiveled, and there's a swivel table mounted in between the two front seats.

The first area in the living space is the kitchen, which is split into two parts. It features a massive sink with an extendable faucet, a flip-up countertop extension, a dual-burner induction stove, four overhead cabinets, an Isotherm fridge/freezer, an oven, and various drawers and cabinets underneath the countertops. What's more, integrated into the kitchen wall is a control panel with switches for the light, heater, and more.

Next, we have the wet bathroom located on the driver's side. It's quite spacious, measuring 24 x 36 inches (61 x 91 centimeters). It boasts a black showerhead, a Nature's Head composting toilet, and a Nautilus self-cleaning sliding door. Beside the bathroom entrance, you'll notice a floor-to-ceiling unit that serves as a closet.

The last part of this camper van is the dinette area/ bedroom. It consists of two sizeable benches and a swivel table. Underneath the passenger side bench is where you'll find the rig's electrical system. Like in most of Rossmonster's builds, the power system is ready to take you off-grid.

Its highlights are a 3,000 W Victron inverter/charger and 800 Ah batteries. Of course, you can't call a van off-grid without it being equipped with some solar panels. This van has 200 W solar panels on the roof.

The bench on the opposite side houses the van's plumbing system, boasting an outdoor shower and a 30-gallon (114-liter) freshwater tank. Furthermore, a 7-gallon (26-liter) greywater tank is mounted underneath the vehicle.

There are two sleeping options available in this camper. First, you can transform the two benches into a large bed by sliding the tabletop in between them and rearranging the cushions. This is where you can accommodate guests overnight.

The main bedroom sits above the dinette area and offers more comfort than the converted bench sleeping spot. Rossmonster equipped the rig with an elevator bed – with the push of a button, you can adjust it however you want by lowering and raising it.

Other notable systems inside this Sprinter van are a Nomadic 12 V A/C and a Maxxair fan. What's more, you can use an AquaHot hydronic heating system, which provides both hot air and hot water.

All in all, Rossmonster has created yet another awesome van that can take you anywhere in comfort and style. However, you can expect to pay an appropriate price to get your hands on it. Rossmonster's custom conversions will set you back anywhere between $60,000 and $150,000 (€55,665 and €139,162), depending on what options you go for.
