Beyond the cool aesthetics and relaxed ambiance, the Orchard is a spacious dwelling that can accommodate families or larger groups, although it would also make an ideal choice for couples' romantic getaways. At 26 feet (7.9 meters), it's not one of the biggest tiny homes out there, although that length is coupled with a generous 10-foot (3 meters) width that contributes to a greater interior volume. KJE Tiny Homes is known to build houses that can go up to 40 feet (12 meters) in length, with widths starting at 8.5 feet (2.5 meters). The Orchard is a medium-sized model in terms of length, boasting the maximum width.

The resulting volume was enough for a spacious, contemporary-style layout with a reverse loft, a second storage loft, and a large kitchen/lounge open-plan space. The enclosed space underneath this elevated bedroom can easily become a convenient storage room, separated from the rest of the house by a vintage-style, heavy barn door.
