Restoration jobs are pretty much the second chance a car receives to return to its pristine condition, no matter if it’s already in a solid shape or close to becoming a rust bucket.
This Impala has recently received this second chance, so the vehicle now seems to be immaculate, therefore looking just like a new car in pretty much every regard.

As you can easily figure out by just browsing the photos in the gallery, the 1964 Impala has been beautifully restored both inside and outside, so the car is now ready to be parked in someone’s collection.

The engine under the hood is a 327 (5.3-liter) V8, most likely rebuilt as well, and obviously, it’s working just as you’d expect such a powerplant to work on a car in this condition.

Back in 1964, the 327 V8 was offered in two different configurations on the Chevrolet Impala. First of all, it was the 250-horsepower version aimed at those who wanted a small block without necessarily being provided with a major power upgrade. But then, it was the 300-horsepower flavor of the 327, obviously offering upgraded performance specs.

The top engine for this model year was the 409 (6.7-liter) V8, this time available in three power outputs, namely 340, 400, and 425 horsepower.

However, the base 283 and the 327 were the most popular V8s for this model year, especially as they allowed the Impala to also play the role of a more economical grocery-getter when needed.

The 1964 Chevrolet Impala that we have here is, therefore, a beautiful testament to those great times, and fortunately, the car is now ready to bring joy to another owner. Posted on eBay by seller na-782067, the car won’t sell for less than $39,000. Given the auction has started a few hours ago, no bids have been recorded so far.

If you want to admire this beautiful Impala in person, just head over to Kendal, Ontario.
