AAWireless is the device that started the Android Auto wireless revolution, giving birth to a new product category rapidly gaining traction.
AAWireless resolved a significant Android Auto shortcoming, allowing users to convert a wired connection into wireless very straightforwardly. The adapter connects to the USB port in the vehicle, using a Bluetooth connection to communicate with the smartphone.

It allows the Android Auto experience to run without any cords, a concept that was eventually copied by many other companies that already released similar products.

AAWireless remains the number one Android Auto wireless dongle on the market, so if you want the best experience, it's safe to say this device is ready to deliver it.

AAWireless is significantly cheaper starting today in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, with the parent company explaining that the price cut is powered by "efficiencies and cost-saving measures" in the production process. The supply chain has also been tweaked to "source components more effectively," and when paired with streamlined manufacturing methods, it leads to reduced costs that can be transferred to the customer.

Starting today, AAWireless can be purchased for $69.99 in the United States, €69.99 in Europe, and £59.99 in the United Kingdom. The prices are available on Amazon as of this week. AAWireless is in stock in all markets, though the shipment could take a few days, depending on where you live. Next-day delivery is also available in some US markets.

Truth be told, AAWireless has always been a top Android Auto wireless adapter, but the competition in this space has gotten much fiercer than it was a couple of years ago. Devices like Motorola's MA1, whose launch was backed by Google itself, provided customers with more choices, whereas generic Chinese brands copied the concept and released dongles that cost nearly half the price of AAWireless.

The cheapest dongle on the October Prime Day was available for approximately $30, so AAWireless obviously needed a price cut. With the new price reduction, AAWireless is $20 cheaper than it was at launch.

Meanwhile, AAWireless is ready to expand beyond the Android Auto front with support for CarPlay. The latest beta firmware update includes support for Apple's phone projection system, allowing a seamless conversion from wired to wireless. Similar products have been available in the Apple ecosystem for many years, including the famous CarLinkit, but AAWireless makes the experience as convenient as it gets with an approach inspired by Android Auto.

The CarPlay support is still in the beta stage, though the feedback from the first testers seems mostly positive. It's probably a matter of time until AAWireless officially steps into the CarPlay world, at which point it should become a must-have accessory for nearly every driver.
