How much would you be willing to spend to get your hands on a genuinely well-equipped truck camper? If what you have in mind is in the hundreds of thousands, you could take a look at one of Rossmonster's truck campers, such as the one I'm checking out today, the Baja Truck Camper.
Rossmonster is a Colorado-based company specializing in building well-thought-of, practical campers. A few days ago, I covered Rossmonster's latest creation (at that time), a Baja Truck Camper based on a Chevy Silverado 3500 HD. In the meanwhile, the company released another truck camper, which, despite bearing the same name, has some significant differences.

This tiny home on wheels is based on a Ford F350. It's ready to take you deep off the beaten path due to several upgrades. First of all, it rides on Method 305 HD rims wrapped in 37-inch Falcon Wildpeak tires.

But the most significant addition to this rig is a Liquid Springs smart suspension. Long story short, this system evaluates speed, braking, steering, and ride height for an astonishing 1,000 times per second and then automatically optimizes your ride quality and handling characteristics. Moreover, it offers four inches (ten centimeters) of lift and enables you to lower and raise the vehicle to suit your needs.

At the front, you'll notice an Addicted Desert Designs HoneyBadger bumper complete with a 40-inch (102-centimeter) light bar and a 12,000-lb. (5,443-kg) winch with a synthetic line. Up top, on the camper pod, there's another light bar.

Whenever you open the truck's doors, AMP Research running boards are automatically deployed to make getting in the vehicle easier. There's also one for the camper pod's entrance. Other notable features on the truck's side are an outdoor shower, a Fiamma awning, and Rossmonster Max traction boards that also double as a fold-out table.

At the rear, you'll discover a custom Rossmonster bumper and three custom Molle panels holding two large storage boxes and a spare tire.

Rossmonster always ensures its vehicles' interiors have a high-quality design. In this one, the company opted for a walnut-stained tongue and groove ceiling paired with white wall panels and maple flooring. The look is completed by dark blue cabinetry and a Crest Leather Regent Sand upholstered dinette.

When it comes to layout, this unit is different from the last one I talked about. This one doesn't have a bathroom, as the customer probably didn't want one. But besides that, they're quite similar in how the spaces are arranged.

Starting from the front, you'll find the bedroom located above the driver's cabin – you'll use a ladder to get up there. It features a queen-size bed, an electric skylight, two reading lights, and two overhead storage compartments.

The next part of the interior is occupied by a bench, which hides a dry-flush toilet mounted on 500-lb. (227-kg) slides. This is where the bathroom was in the Rossmonster's previous build. Even though you can't shower inside, at least you can use the outdoor shower.

Most of the space inside is taken up by the kitchen, which is split into two parts. It comprises two sizeable butcher block countertops, an Isotherm fridge, a black sink, a dual-burner induction stove, a flip-up countertop extension, and an overhead microwave.

By the way, the cabinet underneath the sink houses a 30-gallon (114-liter) freshwater tank and an Aqua Hot hydronic heating system, which provides both hot water and warm air. Other notable utility systems are a Maxxair ceiling fan and a Nomadic 12 V A/C. Oh, and you also get in-floor heating, which is an amazing feature to have, especially if you travel in colder environments.

Regarding storage, there are three overhead cabinets on each side of the interior, running along the ceiling to the rear of the camper. There are also multiple drawers and cabinets under the countertop, but the most distinctive feature is a wine bottle holder drawer.

Integrated into one of the overhead cabinet's sides is the rig's control center. It boasts controls for the lights and all other utility systems. What's more, there's a StarLink hidden in the same cabinet.

Finally, we have the dinette area at the rear, with two beautifully upholstered benches and a large table in between. One of the benches hides the electrical system, which consists of 800 Ah batteries, a 3,000 W inverter, and 400 W solar panels on the roof.

All in all, this is an excellent tiny home on wheels, especially if you're the kind of person who wants to wander deep into the wilderness. However, all this is offered for quite a hefty sum.

We don't know the exact price of this rig. However, depending on the fit and finish, a Rossmonster truck camper will cost between $200,000 and $300,000 (€183,997 and €275,996), of course, including the base vehicle.
