As usual, The Crew Motorfest developer, Ubisoft's Ivory Tower, brings new content. This week, the focus is heavy on drifting, with some serious rides thrown into the mix. Also, an astounding hypercar is available for purchase if you have the right type of currency. Finally, The Crew 2 is still alive and kicking, with one of the all-time classic muscle cars waiting at the Live Summit finish line.
The Drift Performance bundle costs 431k Bucks or 61,519 Crew Credits. It contains the 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR and the 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34).

The Lancer has a 2.0-liter turbo engine that can deliver 276 hp (280 ps) with 275 lb-ft or 373 Nm of torque and weighs 1,360 kg or 2,998 lbs. Back in its heyday, it went from 0 to 62 mph in 4.4 seconds and had a top speed of 150 mph or 241 kph.

The 2002 Skyline GT-R is packing a 2.6-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine capable of delivering 276 hp or 280 hp with 293 lb-ft (397 Nm) of torque. Of course, it's AWD also and can hit 62 mph in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph or 249 kph.

Both are made for some serious drifting in The Crew Motorfest, but if they don't spark your interest, look at the Hoonigan Ford Hoonicorn Mustang. I'm not even kidding; this thing can drift almost all by itself if you put it in the right position and keep the throttle pressed.

Next, a rather expensive item, the Custom Bundle containing the 2012 Koenigsegg Agera R, with Yohmhoy Pink Neon Tire and Dense Drift Smoke.

It currently costs 137,060 CC, at 30% off, but unfortunately, you have to use real money to get it. Bucks don't apply here, only Crew Credits. I recommend steering clear of microtransactions and enjoying the game without spending an extra penny.

The Koenigsegg Agera R comes with a 5.0-liter V8 engine that can output an astounding 1,124 hp (1,115 Nm) with 811 lb-ft or 1,100 Nm of torque. This thing hits 62 mph (100 kph) in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 273 mph or 439 kph.

However, for whatever reason, Koenigsegg thought that still wasn't enough. After a few tweaks here and there, they made it even faster. The improved version produced 1,124 hp (1,140 ps) and 885 lb-ft or 1200 Nm of torque. The top speed increased from 273 mph to 275 mph (443 kph).

The Crew 2 is not forgotten yet, and if you finish the Live Summit event with a platinum trophy, you get the 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Freedom Edition with Inner Yellow Tire, Legendary Performance Parts, and 200k followers. If you want to simply buy this car in Motorfest, you'll find it at the Shop for 490,000 Bucks.

Codrin just loves American classics, from the 1940s and ‘50s, all the way to the muscle cars of the '60s and '70s. In his perfect world, we'll still see Hudsons and Road Runners roaming the streets for years to come (even in EV form, if that's what it takes to keep the aesthetic alive).
