Tesla's CPO program has been up and running for two months now on the carmaker's website, and it seems there were enough buyers attracted by the idea of having a certified pre-owned Tesla Model S instead of paying more money for a new one.
Since the CPO program was first rolled out by Tesla in April, 244 Model S all-electric sedans found new owners, according to Electrek.

There are currently 224 certified pre-owned car up for sale on the website after cars listed at $60,000 or below have sold in 4 days or less. Also, there are a few Tesla Model S P85 and P85+ versions waiting for owners, buy for those you'll have to pay in excess of $90,000.

Looking for a bargain? Well, right now, the cheapest pre-owned Model S available happens to be a 60 kWh listed at $60,000, in Seattle.

But the CPO line-up won't keep the same number of cars for too long, because next year it will be expanded with a new infusion of vehicles taking part in Tesla’s “Resale Value Guarantee”, as they'll become eligible for buyback.

Tesla was quiet about the CPO program's introduction two months ago, but it seems the idea worked so far. The dedicated website landing page allows you to search, select and found additional info on every CPO Model S available in the United States.

In case it's the car condition that worries you, the website stipulates that every Pre-Owned Model S receives a full inspection from Tesla's engineers, plus a four-year, 50,000 mile (80,467 km) limited warranty with 24 hour roadside assistance.
