As a proud parent, you know what it means to offer your child the best of the best. So why not start him or her off with what seems to be a sort of tank for transporting babies.
Folks, what you see in the photos is known as the Strollever. Its designer, Kim Hyeonseok of South Korea, says it’s the future of baby carriages. Now, he’s not the first designer to take a crack at the baby market, but it's rather difficult when competing with already established brands.

Still, this should never stop a designer from pushing forward, as concepts like these usually boast an array of technologies and design innovations. The main drive behind this project was to create a stroller that offers more safety and health benefits than is the norm today.

Personally, my first impression when I saw this was “What kind of off-world machine is that?” But then I saw that tiny arm reaching for mama so I was forced to look again. I then realized that this vehicle, although a concept, could very well have a future as it’s pretty amazing. Seriously, once I got to know what I was looking at, I kind of wanted to go for a ride too. You’ll see what I mean shortly.

The overall shape looks more like some cyborgs headset on some wheels, with said cyborg controlled by a baby mastermind. But seeing as how babies, mastermind or not, are fragile, this stroller has a number of safety features in the designs.

Because the world we live in isn’t always welcoming due to air pollution, ground pollution, and heavy machinery, this stroller is equipped with a feature to take care of each one of those problems.

Let’s take air pollution into consideration. To protect your mini-you from any sort of CO2 or dust particles, the designer installed a massive air bend over the carriage. This air bend creates a protective air bubble and keeps such particles out of the child's lungs.

There’s also a glass screen that can be closed entirely to create a safe environment for the child. Ready to go with full UV protection. But, suppose your little one lets one-off, don’t worry, internal ventilation will take care of that.

The next issue while caring for a child is the terrain. What Mr. Kim has installed to take care of this ever-present issue is a gyroscopic wheel and carriage system. Anytime the stroller goes over uneven terrain, the wheels rotate to compensate for the head-angle of whatever they just hit, and the support arms also move within the carriage as to keep the carriage undisturbed.

However, if the shock is enough to rock this baby’s boat, the carriage too reacts in the same fashion and absorbs the hit. This keeps your baby sleeping nice and level no matter if you come off a curb, get stuck in a crack in the asphalt, or run over some other stroller stuck in the previous settings.

Moving on, the Strollever is also electric, using electricity to run the air bend and filtration systems, but also the headlights and child-monitoring systems.

Personally, I feel this might be the way things could be heading. We can even see the first stages of such technology in some strollers on our streets today. But if things turn out like the Strollever, make a couple adult-sized ones while at it. I'm sure somebody with a weird fetish will get their kicks too.
